The Hotel Del Coronado is lovely in an old-fashioned way. Marilyn Monroe made a movie there, and the rooms have been updated. It is haunted; don't venture down hallways late at night unless you want to change your underwear. Photos taken at the the Del and on its beach don't do it justice.
