Gibraltar is a dump at the bottom of Europe. The only reason why anyone would go there again is if you live in Spain and want duty free cigarettes and liquor. Electronics are not that much cheaper than the UK. In fact during sales, you'd probably get it a lot cheaper in the UK. There are no beautiful historical buildings there. Put it bluntly, the only reason why Great Britain keeps control of the island is because it's got strategic military location. It's full of rundown flats, with an exception to the High Street. The only place worth visiting is the Rock of Gibraltar.. and that is you're into that sort of thing.
