Shopping
In the city center you can find everything you need: perfume, household supplies, groceries, clothing, shoes and lots more. The different parts of Rotterdam have their own style like 'de Koopgoot' and 'de Lijnbaan'.

Restaurants
Everywhere you look, you see places you can crash for food. The multi-cultural cuisine is in Rotterdam not an unfamiliar concept and you get to choose whether you want to dine casual or in a fancy restaurant. MacDonalds, KFC and BK are at almost every corner, for the fancy restaurants you need to look a bit further. Italian food is also available: Pizza, Pasta, Lasagna? Sure, at the 'Coolsingel' you can find 50% of these cathegory restaurants. Next to those, you have shoarma places for a delicious döner kebab and Surinam restaurants for spicy food. Not to forget the Chinese Restaurants. In Rotterdam's China town you find multi-sided Asian food while in the center you can find 'Wok2Go' for take-out or a small dinner.

Cinema
After having spent an enormous time in the center, you can enjoy a nice piece of work of the actors in Hollywood. At Pathe Schouwburgplein you have a big range of films to watch.

Night Life
Off Corso, The Thalia Lounge, Club Vie. Just a small grab of the tremendously much places you can go to, to shake the stress away or to meet with friends. Cocktailbars are in the overflow to lounge with a Mai Tai in your possession and friends on your side. Bars and pubs are also integrated in Rotterdam: Stadhuisplein, Schouwburgplein and in the side ways of Beursplein. You are supplied with more than enough spots to have a get2gether.

Casino
Money in overflow? Or in need? Or wanna have the Las Vegas feeling? Holland Casino Rotterdam, among others, is the place to hang out.

Piazza Navona

If you are in Rome, this place is recommendable. You can find a Ice Saloon where you can score delicious Italian ice cream and enjoy a good piece of architecture. The fountain in the middle of the square is definitely worth taking a picture with you in front of it! The artists who are to be found can draw you like the best and give you a life-time souvenir to hang in the living room back at home to remember the nice moments you have had. Piazza Navona is near the Pantheon, so this way you have two hotspots to admire without much traveling.
Nice place to relax, so go there!

There is a lot to do in this part of Istanbul. The unique thing about this place is that you truly can see how the locals live. The fish restaurants under the Galata Bridge are recommended, you can either sit down at a restaurant or have a sandwich 10sec-ago-caught-fish to go! You can find the Yeni Cami at a glance and of course the Misir Çarsi (Spice Bazar). Not to forget Sultan Ahmet cami, the Topkapi Palace and Aya Sofya.
After a long day sight-seeing you can relax in the tremendous park nearby Sultan Ahmet Mosque which is similar to Central Park in NYC, only here is more groundlevel difference for the wilder imagination. This city is a must see!

City Centre

This city has improved its infrastructure over the past decade and has the same abilities that you have in Ankara. The shopping places are awesome where you can find everything you search for the price you want to pay. The people are friendly but you have to be careful with the price (you need to negotiate). You can enjoy the view of the city because you have open places where you can sit down for delicious and/or healthy food. There is a fortress with cute places to find souvenirs and clothing, next to a gigantic ultra modern shopping mall. The park is easy to find to have a relax moments. You also have an underground shopping area where you can get lost if you aren't careful, but that is not unpleasant because this way you get more time to shop :D.
To cut a long story short, this city is a shopping paradise and a cultural event at the same time. You do need to have a guide for the language because the locals have minimum knowledge of foreign languages..
