Peter Lynch has been on several conservation volunteer projects, including protecting turtles on the Greek Islands, tracking leopard and cheetah in Namibia, eco-house building in Yorkshire, reef conservation in the Seychelles, and habitat management in the Amazonian rainforest of Peru. He has a degree in biology and a PhD in educational psychology, and is a member of the British Guild of Travel Writers. He works freelance for a number of publications in the UK, USA, China, Singapore and Australia.
