Nick is an award-winning wildlife photographer and author, with a particular interest in endangered species and island wildlife. He gained an honours degree in zoology from Nottingham University in 1988, later working in research and conservation, before turning his career to wildlife photography, writing and tour leading in 1995. His work and wildlife travels have taken him all over the world and he returns to favourite places like Borneo, Madagascar, India and Africa most years. Nick contributes photographs and articles to numerous magazines and publications worldwide, including National Geographic, Africa Geographic, Outdoor Photography and BBC Wildlife. He has twice been a winner of the BBC Wildlife Photographer of the Year Competition, with several commended entries.
