Danny Edmunds first visited Mozambique in 1996 when he spent a year living in the Quirimba Archipelago as part of a marine research project. He has spent the equivalent of a year and a half knocking around Africa, and a further six months doing much the same in South America. He’s a diving instructor and an avid photographer. He’s worked on cruise ships at both poles, and is currently the Boating Officer at Rothera Base on the Antarctic Peninsula with the British Antarctic Survey.
