Stay on the designated driving paths and visit th gift shop for handmade arts and crafts by the local talent.

Little quirky place facing the ocean 50 feet to the beach.  Huge homemade burgers! Fabulous fried shrimp. Everything is made fresh. Their Key-lime pie won the Key-lime Pie Contest in Key West last year! Decent portions, great taste and reasonable prices. Can't beat the view! Extremely casual dinning! Located on A1A 1.8 miles north of Flagler pier. Don't blink or you'll miss it!

Best Po- boys in south La.  Very close to French quarter but too far to walk.  We used to drive from Baton Rouge just for a sandwich!

Great aquarium! Well laid out. Lots to see and do. Worth the money.

Cool beachside bungalow indoor or outdoor. Burgers, dogs, fish, seafood. Reasonable prices. Might have to wait on a table.

One of the most famous beaches in the carribean. Public restrooms and chairs for rent.  Beautiful turquoise water in a secluded cay.

They built a nice new indoor shopping mall there about 14 years ago. YOu could get a lot of the same things as in the states.  I think it even had a Macy's. Limited selection and prices are higher because of the import fees to bring merchandise to the island.

Don't do it! It's grease and more grease!  It was the only place open after 8 p.m.  Next time I'll go hungry!

Been there forever.  Recently remodeled when they 4-laned the road. 

Has been named in numerous travel magazines as having the most beautiful beaches in the world and they weren't kidding! 3/4 of the island is U.S. National Park.  Absolutely fabulous.  You can take a ferry from St. Thomas the catch a cab to the beach.  There is always one waiting to take you back when you're ready. Or you can rent a jeep.  Beware of the wild donkeys. They have the right of way!

Interesting site to see. Nothing but lava rock rfor acres.  That's why they call it hell.  Looks like what you would imagine hell to be.  There is a post office and a gift shop so you can by t-shirts that say "I've been to hell"  and send postcards  postmarked from hell!

Go across one of the many intracoastal bridges and work your way down til you find a public beach access. this is the land of some of the rich and famous. Oprah, has a house here or she did a few years back, so did Jeff Gordon's ex . The each is public domain but you must use only accesses designated for public use.  rough surf, some sea shells. beautiful view at sunrise. 

A remote island only a few miles off the shore of Puerto Rico and part of that island.  Sparsely populated. Take a ferry from Fajardo  about 45 min. then catch a taxi at the pier to the beach/park.  They will make arrangements to pick you up at a specific time.  Pub;lic restrooms available but bare minimum.  Quite a hike but you can walk around the shoreline to a local restaurant!

One of, if not the cleanest and safest beaches in Puerto Rico for the entire family.  Public restrooms and snack stands available with local fair.  The water is clear and smooth due to a reef off shore. great snorkeling and swimming.

Several different beaches to choose from.  Known all over as the place to go to find fossilized shark teeth.  All shapes and sizes.  We average about 200 to 300 a person on a two day all day excursion.  almost microscopic size to 3 or 4 inches.  You have to know what to look for and bring your own digging and sifting equipment.  

Fresh fish and seafood daily.  Clam chowder served in sourdough bread bowls. Food and souveniers, all served with the background noise of seals on the piers! Takes a while to get used to the smells though!

Years ago we used to pass through there regularly on our way  to southern parts of Mexico.  Great deals on blankets (like $5 U.S.) and trinkets.  You must negotiate the bargain or they will be insulted.

THE BEST PLACE EVER! You can dine down stairs for casual or upstairs for formal.  You can wait in line for a private table or you can agree to sit with strangers and share a table and make new friends. we have done this on my birthday many years ago and we kept in touch with them for years afterward!

Love it! We go every time we're in Grand Cayman!
