Had a lot of fun at Duquesne University- I would go to class with my girlfriend and we would see what kind of trouble we could get into ;) Even on the shortest of trips to Pittsburgh, I would have to have a Primanti Bros sandwhich- nothing fancy about it- they serve these messy conconctions on wax paper- brilliant business idea, if you ask me- a little messy, but thats part of the experience. Primanti brothers made this Pittsburgh creation famous- there's copycats all across the country.... Look at the menu-theres a variety of options- but no matter what type you choose, its going to be topped with their homemade coleslaw, tomatoes and some french fries- makes for a large lunch, but its well worth it- all those layers of delicious messy-ness- thats a Primanti Brothers sandwich- and a Pittsburgh legend. If you have been to the 3 River Stadium City and left without having tried this - you need to turn around and find a location- there are so many, I preferred the South Side ( or like they would say it- Sow-Side- in their unique PA accent) but I think that's because it was closest and were just poor college kids lookin for a good meal. ![]() Battle Ground, Indiana, United States ![]() Added Jul 26, 2009 Wolves have a special place in my heart. God instilled this connection in me, but the attraction was reinforced during a relationship. My first wolf, Tatonka learned to pucker his little wolf mouth and let out a howl for the first time because of wolfpark. Our first visit to this beautiful sanctuary was delightful-we learned so much and even helped in a howling. The people that run the show at wolfpark truly care about the animals. We loved this place so much that we drove our baby Tatonka from Tennessee to the area outside of wolfpark in hopes that he would hear the howls and HE DID!!! For us it was like a baby's first word. If you love animals, and you like activities that will enrich your mind and spirit - head to WOLFPARK and join in on some howls! ![]() State College, Pennsylvania, United States ![]() Added Jul 26, 2009 Ye Olde College Diner looked really old back in the day before they replaced all the hard cold booths -but there was so many memories carved into those rickety old tables. I must admit that it didn't always feel sanitary but most of the time I dined there, I was recovering from a night on the town or from some crazy Delta Phi party, so I didn't really notice. Sticky buns, grilled- must try them!!!! Pastries are incredible-like some famous Parisian chef created them or something- I was hooked on the napoleans.... but I digress- Ye Olde College Diner is a part of the Penn State experience- classier comfy laid back environment and lots of comfort foods-try homemade mac and cheese with various mix ins... or go load up on their coffee-which always tasted better than any other coffee. Go with friends and have a good time! ![]() Milford, Pennsylvania, United States ![]() Added Jul 26, 2009 The Dimmick Inn has so much to offer-comfy lodging, a lunch menu, dinner menu, and bar menus. You can also host your event here. There is a lot of variety in the dinner menu- the Porterhouse for 2 which is mouth watering, Pan Seared Baby Lamp Chops, Seafood Fra Diavolo plus so much more. Comfortable cozy environment. I loved eating in the bar area, grabbing a cold Heineken, some wings or poppers and playing pool. This place is suitable no matter what your dining style preference is. ![]() State College, Pennsylvania, United States ![]() Added Jul 26, 2009 I love love love the Corner Room- so many memories made there and my family has a lot of history there- i think my father and almost all of my uncles have worked there and my Aunt Faye still works there today. Good food, good service and the atmosphere was always very comfortable. I try to eat there everytime I make it back home. ![]() Annapolis, Maryland, United States ![]() Added Jul 26, 2009 The academy was beautiful, but really its the men in uniforms - what can I say? I have a weakness for a man in uniform, especially military uniforms. I think its in my genes. ![]() San Antonio, Texas, United States ![]() Added Jul 26, 2009 When they were putting the Riverwalk together, they must have been thinkin of me-so much variety in music, food and atmosphere-for a girl like me who enjoys shakin what God gave her with yummy cocktails after feasting on foods from every culture- this place is heaven. I loved talking with the artists on the streets that were showcasing their talents too... so much to do here!!!!! ![]() New York, New York, United States ![]() Added Jul 25, 2009 the high paced, competitve and professional environment gets the blood flowing The lowdown on Amy M.What's this person like as a travel companion?
