If avionics or anything concerning outer space interests you, the you must visit Kennedy Space Center. They have many actual spaceships on display there, and you can even walk in some of them to get a better look at what the astronauts had to squeeze themselves into. The bus tour takes you by the dormitories, the really tall building where the rockets are assembled and later rolled over to the launch pads (the size of that building will leave you with your mouth wide open). There's even a simulated control center from the Apollo flights where you can see how everything is set up, and you can "feel" the simulated rocket take off. It's really cool and definitely recommended.
