it's a great thing to take a boat trip on the Li River, but you should know that you're not alone! But it's very relaxing and fun, and at every (small) waterfall, there is someone who takes photo's, wich you can buy for a small amount of money.. :)

Wolong National Nature Reserve (Giant Panda Reserve)

This is a Panda Breading Park, where you can see both the regular black-and-white panda's and the red panda's. There are just panda's, but the entrance it for free if you just go to a store and ask for a "Panda Card", (you can also ask at your hostel/hotel where you can buy this card), this card gives you free entrance to the park for a whole year and costs just 1 RMB! You can buy this card as long as you're not fromthe Sichuan province. And with this card you will appreciate your stay at the park much more! :)

Gorkhi-Terelj National Park

This is a really must if you are going to Mongolia! To not see the country side is like be in NY and not see the Satue of Liberty! The country side of Mongolia is outstanding! To live in a traditional ger (yurt) and drink the traditional milok tea is an amazing experience! Here you can also hike wherever you want, since noone owns anything in Mongolia! And when your feet are tired, you can take a horse ride! This is one thing that I always will remember, since it was such a great experience and such a peaceful place to be at! Unfortunately some of the ger's (yurt's) have electricity, and that removes a little of the feeling, but it's still amazing! Just about an hour east of UB city!

Inner Mongolia Museum

This is the biggest museum I've ever seen! It's 5 floors high, with everything that the people of the Inner Mongolia is proud of. So here you kan find everything between the dinonsaurs to space! They have rebuild skeletons of dinosaurs and animals. The entrace is free between given times, I don't really remember the times, but you could check them at the ticket office at the museum. Here you really have to spend a whole day, and that's not hard to do! You can take as many photo's as you want to inside, so bring your camera!

Giant Buddha

The Giant Buddha in Leshan is a 71meter high Buddha carved ou of the mountain. The Buddha is located just an hjour south-west of Chengdu, in Sichuan province. The entrance consts about 90RMB (about $13). But htere are different kinds of tickets, so the price depends on how much of the park you want to see.The shuttle busses to Leshan goes from Chengdu bus station every half an hour from 10a.m. - 5p.m., and since there are a lot of people, you should be there in time!

If you ever go to UB, you should go look for the Khaan buudz ( Хаан бууз ) restaurants. Here they got typical Mongolian food and for a really good price! For example you can choose the buudz (like dumplings, but bigger) for just 350 tugrik (about $0.25) and be full on that! But if you want a piece of meat of something you might have to pay as much as 1,500 tugrik (almost $1)! ;) A cheap and good place to eat, and you can find these restaurants both here and there in the city.

The best ice cream place in the country! They bake the waffles and the same place as they sell the ice cream, so if your lucky, you can get one that's just been done! They got all flavours you can imagine plus smome more, and it's not too expensive either! It's really nice to walk along the harbour and eat a great ice cream in a new baked waffle!

This is a very funny place! You can play "Fort Boyard" here! There are a big house with alot of rooms with different tasks to solve. The task is everything from mind games to aguility. It's very fun for the whole family, but you should know that it takes alot of time, but and if you want to, you can also stay over the night there, in rooms with different themes, like, motors and music etc..

The Timanfaya National Park on the western side of the island is a really cool adventure! Here you can really see the lava terrain in a special way, eat steaks that's been grilled over vulcano's, and cool views over the island, and the ocean!

Kräftfestivalen

Kräftfestivalen is a festival that is held in Glommens hamn (The harbour of Glommen), early July every year. The whole harbour becomes a big market, where you can find exctly everything! There is dance to live music, a band that returns every year is Arvingarna. It's a nice place to spend a day or two, to just walk around and see what there is. There is also a small tivoli, for the smaller children, like ride a merry-go-round, and/or a small roller coaster. Usually a lot of people visits the festival every year, and as long as you don't buy anything, everything is free! :)

To me, this what quite cool! The landscape is not so much to talk about, mostly lava, but that's how Lanzarote is, but this park was cool!

Statue of Liberty

It's very much about the Statue, but not so much talk about what's arounf it. It's a real tourist attraction, a big souvenir shop at the back, and the line to go out there is huge! bring a chair, and be there in time so you don't miss Ellis Island, very interesting, but if you're too late, the boat won't take you there!

Niagara Falls

The Niagara Falls is a might waterfall on the border Canada-USA. It can be seen fromboth sides, but the "right side" is the Canadian side, where you get the best view at the biggest fall - The Horse Shoe Fall. If you'd like to, you could take one of the tour boats and see the falls from underneath. And of course there are alots of restaurants and souvenir shops all around. Don't miss it, it absolutely worth a visit!

It's a Christian muic festival held every year in Örebro in the beginning of August. Here you can meet a kinds of people, see live band, like Blindside & Switchfoot etc. You live in a tent or a trailer, depends on what you have. For more information, check out their website, www.frizon.nu.

The entrence price is very high, and to me, there's not so much to see, it's at least not worth the money, unless you don't have small kids, cuz I can imagine that they will appreciate it (maybe age up to 12). I wouldn't pay that price to get in, if it were half, it would be more worth it.
