Great seafood and amazing views. This place is a must-visit. Catch the ferry out there if you can for a double whammy experience, but make sure you pick a sunny day.
This is a street that runs from the town to the outskirts along a beautiful stream and past some of the most magnificent mansions I've ever seen. I saw it in spring and there were carpets of blue and white flowers everywhere. Very romantic.
This place is so random. Kind of a cool idea though. It just feels strange that there's this elaborate pretend beach in the middle of a city. I wouldn't make a special trip for it but if you happen to be in the city and want somewhere nice to go and eat your sandwich, then this is a great spot for it.
This is a must see, but make sure you get the audio guide - otherwise you really won't know what you're looking at and you won't see how amazing it is. Also, don't go on a hot day as there isn't a lot of shade and its dusty and dirty. Make sure you wear really comfortable shoes too as its often hard to walk over the ancient roads and you'll end up walking for hours.
Spend a day here and get lost in the streets and alleys off the cathederal. Have a siesta on the beach from 1-3 while everything closes and have tapas in the evening before hitting some of the cocktail bars. This place is great!
This is the place to go if you want to watch the sun set over Sydney. The views are spectacular and the bar revolves, so over 90 minutes you don't even have to leave your seat to see 360 degree views. If you want to can go on to eat at the restaurant as well. The service is great here and its very contemporary. The tokyo rose cocktail is my recommendation!
Santorini is a magical place. Its so romantic at sunset on the Caldera that it made me squirm. My tips would be to stay on the Caldera if you can afford it(!), spend at least a day in Oia - its stunning and so much nicer than the main town of Santorini, and avoid trying to walk down to the old port past all the donkeys - its scary and disgusting! Oh and definitely fork out for a trip to the volcano and hot springs. Its worth the 20 euros and more.
