It will take you ages to go thru, but you definitly should take the time to stroll around. There are many different things to see and more important to try out. That is one good thing in english museums. They are often prepared with tryouts!! There is a dinosaur exhibit, which is great, even if you are not that much into dinosaurs. Oh and the entrance is free.
We went they by boat, which was a great beginning. Coming close to the island we could see some beautiful spotts. We ended up at a little habour down at a beach. Nice place to stay, but we tried to rent a vespa and we did...a very good way to move, specially if you are just a couple of hours there. Going to the blue cove is supposed to be a highlight, but you need to bring time....its like a queue of boats waiting outside the cave to get in. But having the time, you should go in. But also cruising around the island and just having a view around is great. At the beach (where our boat layed) where quite a few jellyfishes. Just the harmless ones, but it depends on you, if you like to swim with them or not. I´m not always sure about the swimming, but I think they look beautiful.
Just love walking around thru the quarter. All those beautiful houses with those black balconies....Just loveble. So you should go on a stroll. It´s worth it. You´ll find a little market with lots of different things, like food, clothes and other stuff. I try to remember where, but its about 17 years ago, since I have been to this market. But it must be when you are starting at Cafe Du Monde, passing the Cathedral on your left an going on a bit and you´ll see the market just on your left hand side. If the wheater is great, just get a cold drink and sit down by the cathedral and listen to the music. Of course you shouldn´t miss Bourbon street by night. Well first time I went there I was fifteen and we where kicked of the bars;-)), but I came back, when I was 23 and yeah, I was allowed to go in. But even just strolling thru the street is an adventure and real fun. One more thing you should do is going on one of the old ships. Just a little roundtrip on the river with one of those "Huckelberry Finn-Boats". You see, I cant really just name one thing there...New Orleans is just a beauty.
Its one of the tourist attraction places. You should definitly go to Oxford street and of course you´ll pass Oxford Circus. If you are interested in "Topshop", you need to go here. A very big one is located just here at the Circus. Well usually its a really crowded place, so take care for your belongings and try not to loose your companions;-)
Just have been there for one day..but as far as I remember it was quite good. Usually I´m just in Calais to catch the Ferry to UK. Which works mostly pretty good.
You´ll start at St. Marychurch Bay in Brixham, which is by the way a nice beach aswell, so if you have time, just spend some time there and then start the walk. Its an easy walk around the coast. You´ll see some ruins of a fortress and you´ll pass Berry Head. There you´ll find the smallest, but highest lighthouse in southengland. You´ll have a good view over Torbay and you´ll see Torquay and Paington. But the best is of course the coast. you´ll end at a hotel, but just walk on and you´ll reach the harbour and Brixham "downtown". Its a small fisher town, but really nice for a walk and a look around.
I have seen the old one, which was really old, but cool. I´ve seen the Tigers vs. Yankees and since the Tigers won it was great. The new stadium is really beautiful. Its about 9 or 10 years old and surrounded by tiger statues. Even if you dont want to see a game its worth to stop by an have a look at the stadium. Its located downtown, just in the center.

Stayed there for a week and the beach is beautiful. Not much more to do there, just relaxing on the beach with a good book or two. But also Charlottetown is great.
We went there on a schooltrip and I was impressed. Walking where the Formel 1 takes place, seeing all the big ships and all the "gardens" on top of the roof. That was really cool, whish we would have something like that here in Cologne.
I went there in 1998 with Trek America. It was a beautiful day so we wear shorts and T-shirts, but guess what there was snow...so we took some funny snowpictures. We did a walk around and it was great. My tip: bing a sweater, even if it is sunny and midmay;-)
Check it out, long sandy beaches, sun and the sea. If you are happy with this, you need to go there. If you dont like the ocean, a beach and just behind the beach hotels, houses and streets, ten this isnt the place to be. If you dont mind, its good....and you´ll easily get to by some cold drinks;-)
Passing thru the Smokey Mountains is fantastic. Just the look of it. You´ll find here also an Indian Reservat. Just have a look, if you are interested in Indians and for example there "trail of tears".
If you are in London and you want to take a break from all your sightseeing, then go to Covent Garden. You could get yourself a drink or something to eat (a jacked potatoe for example) and just sit down relaxe and watch the street artist. Afterwards you could have a stroll around thru the market. You´ll also find here a Disney Store. The Museum Transport Museum is also located here. The big Doc Martens shop is gone. So if you are looking for those you need to go to Camden Town or go to Carneby Road. You get here by tube. Dont hesitate to take the elevator. If you dont do, you need to go a lot of steps by yourself. The tube is quite deep. If I´m not mistaken you have to take the Piccadilly Line.
Went there years ago with my family. It was really good. We stayed in a good Hotel, which was close to a small beach. You just find small beaches here, no endless long beaches. Well there is one not far from there, but you need a car. If you are going there you wont find hotels in your back, at least 13 years ago. In Cala D´or you´ll find of course many of tourist shops and stuff to do, for example a little train. But also some nightclubs which are fun. You also could go out just for some cocktails. Its about 11/2 hours from El Arenal, so if you want to you could have a night out there.
If you are interested in Party, Party, Party, its the place to be. If you prefer more then that fo your holidays, there are far more nicer places in Mallorca. You should try it out for one night, but I could imagine staying there for the whole time, you need a holiday after your holidays;-))
Since I live here, I have been there very often. During the spinga nd summertime you´ll find some artist here, human statues and drawers. They paint pictures to the floor. There are also skatboarders doing they skates. The Roman Museum is just located there. It´s worth to have a look. In December you´ll find here the best Christmasmarket in town. Its really crowded on weekends, but ok during the week. You´ll get there the best German Bratwurst. Try it!! And the Dom (Kathedral) is just geourgeos!!
Best place in London...you need to go there. Just take the Northern Line to Camden Town get of there and turn right. Saturdays its really crowded but still worth it. If you go early or out of the sesion, you can get some really good deals. There are of course a lot of tourist stuff, but also gothic, punk... If you are looking for doc Martens or chucks, its the place to be. If you want to see some interesting people, just sit down have a drink and look. You´ll find many different things to eat: Indian, Thai, Chinese, Italien...
You could spend days there. Many different things to see, from boats, airplanes, cars, mills, planetarium..... you need to pay extra for the planetarium, but its worth it.
Well, I didn´t really went to the Nationalpark. But I went to Moshi, Himo and Kilima, which is a small town at the Kilimanjaro. I stayed there for a week and the landscape is fantastic. Everything is so green and the people are very nice. Go to the market at Himo and try all the different bananas you can get there. It´s amazing how different bananas can taste. If you are in Moshi wait until 5pm and you´ll get a fantastic view of the Kilimanjaro. It´s amazing, you can bet on it, before 5pm kilimanjao is hidden behind clouds, but after 5pm it´s clear. And the best thing is Kilimanjaro beer...best beer ever!!! If you want to go on a trip at the Kilimanjaro, you can book into different tours, there are easy tours which takes about 3 or 4 hours, or you could do the big walk up to the top, which takes about a week.
London is one of the greatest citys I´ve been to. I´m aways impressed by the view of the House of parlament and Big Ben. You get there by tube or bus. When you are in London just take a one day travelcard and go by bus 11 or 15. They pass most of the sightseeing stuff in London and it´s cheaper then going by an official bussightseeing company.
When I was 15 we did a tour thru America. One stop was in Pensacola. We stayed at the Campground and went to the beach. First time seeing the Gulf of Mexico was great. We went swimming and layed in the sun. The water was wavy, so it was fun.
We did the Niagrafall-walk, which was great. The beginning of the walk was a bit boring, but things changed after the beginning. Impressiv!! You book into a tour directly at the visitorcenter and a bus brings you to the startpoint. There is a campground close by.
I´ve been there when I was 8 years old. Like you can imagine it was great for a kid: being at top of the clouds, deep snow (when you are a kid) and wide views.
I just ended there by good luck and I really enjoyed it. If you are interested in Coca Cola you ust stop here. It´s located in downtown, so its easy to get there. Cant really miss it.
We stayed there for a night on our trip with Trek America. My first time being at the Pacific Coast and it was great. We had a great sunset. The beaches are sandy and beautiful. You should definitly stay here at least for a picknick.
We went to Limone and spend a couple of hours. It was rainy so we didnt spend the night, but still it was a cute littel village and the Lago di Garda is fantastic.
Well, all in all its very touristic, but it was fun going behind the falls. Well you didnt really see more then water, but keep in mind your are behind the falls then its fun. If you have the chioce always check out the falls fom the canadian side. Its a better view. If you are around the area of the Niagrafalls, you should stop by. But if you are just panning to go there because of the falls, you should chose other falls which are more in nature. If you are not very good by foot or your are handicaped in any way, its a good place to go, cause the street leads you directly to the falls. Which is good in that case. If you dont mind all the tourist attraction you should go to see the niagrafalls. If you do mind there are a lot of impressive waterfalls in some of the Nationalparks.
I spent a couple days in Yosemite NP. It was my first NP in America and I really enjoyed it. We went there with a group, it was part of our tour with Trek America. We went to see some waterfalls. First to see the Vernal Falls and then to see the Nevada Falls. It was great. Not like being at the Niagrafalls where everythings is made for tourist, no you really where in nature. There was only a little wooden bridge at the Nevada Falls to get across. And also just a little fence at one side,so you wont fall down looking down the fall. It was great.
First time I went to New York was in 1997, when I started my year as an Au Pair. First four days we had an orientation in New Jersey and one of these days we went to Manhatten. It was incredible and the moment we where at theEmpire State Building was the monemt I realised what was going on. Hey I´m in America and I´m going to stay for a year. So that is one of the reasons why this is one of my favourite spots in NYC. Also the view is great. Looking over Manhatten, seeing all the yellow cabs in the street like snakes going thru the streets. You need to see it!!!
You like scary things, go to the London Dungeon. You´ll find things about Jack the Ripper and about the big fire 1666. Ther are walking people around who want to scare you. There is also w waterride in it. You´ll get to see a movie and they aregoingto tell you storys about Jack the Ripper and so on. Going thru takes about two hours I would say. The queue is quite long at the beginning so take your time. If you go with a group (min. 20), you can call them and you´ll get in thru a groupintrance. So that will be faster. I think it´s possible to get timetickets, which are more expensive but they tell you when to get in, for example between 11 and 12. Something like this.
First time I went to San Franciso I thought, well its part of the trip, but not my favourite place to go. I didnt know how wrong I was. It was one of the best places we went to. Seeing all the places was geat. One great place was Chinatown. You really feel like being in China, well probably just if you where never really in China, but still its great!
Imagine you are the first time in America and walking down 5th Avenue. You are feeling like being in a different world. Everything seems to be so big and beautiful adnd you dont know where to look first, take your time to see everything!!
If you are interested in old buildings, specially the Gothic era, you´ll have a great day strolling thru the center of Barcelona. There are so many beautiful buildings and spots, you dont know where to look first. Dont forget to bring your camera and a big bottle of water;-))
We did a classtrip to Southfrance and it was great. We just went to Nice for a day and it was rainy most of the time, but still it was great. You´ll even get the charm of it when it is rainy, so it must be a dream with sunshine!!
Coolest place of London. Very crowded saturdays, but worth it. You´ll find a big staple market and lots of great shops,if you are not looking for Topshop or H&M. You´ll meet peolple like punks or gothic. If you are looking for Doc Martens for example come here. Dont miss a trip to Camden Town if you are in London. You´ll miss a geourgeos place!!
Thre Mile Park is located directly at the Lake Shore of Lake St. Claire. You can go here to do a barbeque or spend the day with kids at the playground. In winter its possible to do some iceskating. Or just take a book and sit at the Lake Shore. Really relaxing.
Here you´ll find old houses and old pavement. Dont take your camera away, you´ll see so many beautiful spots. Alos the touristinformationcentre is located here. They are reallly helpful. If you want to go on a boattrip, you need to go here. Also the aquarium is located here. You can do a nice stroll thru the barbican, where you also find some small fleamarkets, and go further around the castle to the hoe. It´s a nice place for a picknick.
